Job summary

ABM is seeking a Janitorial Project Manager to oversee daily operations at facilities such as campuses, warehouses, offices, or airports in Ohio. You will lead staff, ensure service excellence, manage client relationships, and ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance.

The role requires 4-5 years in facility or project management with 1-2 years supervisory, strong communication, budget awareness, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel and occasional evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in facility, operations, or project management with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid business acumen including budget oversight and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent client needs, including occasional evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support frontline employees and supervisors; foster engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
• Coach and mentor staff to drive performance, professional growth, and compliance with ABM and client policies.
• Act as the primary contact for clients; build and maintain strong, professional relationships with property management teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure services meet or exceed contract terms, address client feedback, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Oversee daily operations of facility services, including janitorial, parking, and maintenance as applicable.
