Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a seasoned Janitorial Account Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and admin tasks to ensure contract compliance and profitability for the assigned building.

You will develop cost-control measures, monitor quality and safety programs, and coordinate inspections, staffing, and paperwork to support service delivery. Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a service/customer-oriented environment.
• 2+ years of Janitorial, Custodial, or Facilities Management experience preferred.
• Experience in cost estimating/pricing work.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence and present information to managers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins.
• Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
• Manage the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.
• Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.
• Increase revenue by pursuing additional services for customers.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll paperwork and handle discrepancies.
• Provide leadership to Supervisors and Lead personnel.
• Direct, evaluate, and discipline personnel per company policies.
