Job summary

Engtal in Cincinnati is seeking a Project Manager for a growing commercial general contractor. The role focuses on managing commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and interior buildouts with a lean team that enables broad impact on projects and the business.

You will partner with superintendents, keep clients and architects informed, oversee budgets and schedules, and grow into expanding responsibilities as the company executes its five-year growth plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience, ideally with a General Contractor.
• Experience with renovations, tenant improvements, interiors, or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of cost, schedule, documentation, and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Organized and proactive in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction and turnover through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to keep projects moving efficiently
• Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal leadership
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Help maintain the high level of service that has driven a strong base of repeat clients
• Take on increasing responsibility as the company continues to grow
