Job summary

Engtal in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, balancing budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation while managing relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred.
• Experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Background in commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, or institutional construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial performance.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams.
• Manage owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear project communication.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and contracts.
• Track project schedules and proactively address potential delays.
• Identify and resolve project issues throughout construction.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
• Assist with preconstruction, estimating, and project turnover as needed.
