Engelke Construction Solutions / Engelke Facility Solutions is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for commercial construction projects in Northeast Ohio. The role involves overall project management, reporting, team support, and maintaining project records from estimating through construction.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clients, architects and engineers, subcontractors, and the accounting team to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and represent all company values and ethics.
• Collaborate on front end client communication for assigned projects.
• Communicate with Architect/Engineer of Record on design intent and construction recommendations.
• Perform bid solicitation and collaborate in estimating efforts.
• Collaborate in qualification of subcontractor proposals and material quotes.
• Assist in preparation and submission of formal proposals.
• Collaborate on front end and progress scheduling and schedule updates.
• Collaborate and award subcontract agreements and procure materials via purchase orders.
• Monitor project progress, scheduling, budgets, and support field staff.
• Coordinate and maintain communication with clients throughout construction; conduct weekly conference calls or meetings.
• Submit closeout documents and ensure timely final billing.
• Contribute to business development through client relationships.
• Implement corrective measures to minimize company exposure and improve policies.
