Job summary

CMC is seeking a marketing-led leader to direct and grow plant marketing activities across its recycling and manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on developing new business, pricing & proposals, and coordinating with operations to achieve plant and regional goals.

Ideal candidates will have a track record in operations or marketing within metal recycling or related industries, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead a team toward measurable performance targets while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, marketing or sales in metal recycling or related industry is a strong plus.
• Broad knowledge of marketing and sales practices.
• Ability to manage and lead a team; strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with pricing and proposals; ability to hedge pricing.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and implement all plant marketing activities.
• Lead marketing personnel toward achieving performance goals.
• Establish financial and non-financial marketing goals.
• Develop new business; source leads and referrals.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager to meet plant and regional goals.
• Maintain records of buying/sourcing and prospecting activities.
• Adhere to CMC guiding principles, culture, code of conduct, and policies.
