Commercial Metals (CMC) is seeking a Manufacturing Plant Leader to oversee production, safety, and efficiency across plant operations. You will steer teams, drive safety initiatives, and implement improvements to meet performance goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, production planning, and cost control while ensuring high standards of workplace organization and employee engagement. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of concrete manufacturing processes, production planning, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience managing production teams, equipment, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production, maintenance, quality, and safety activities across plant operations.
• Partner with the plant manager to implement safety programs, training, and compliance initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for production supervisors and employees.
• Establish production goals, monitor performance, and implement improvements to meet operational objectives.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support preventive maintenance efforts.
• Monitor labor utilization, overtime, and operating expenses to support efficient plant performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
• Maintain high standards of workplace organization, housekeeping, and employee engagement.
