About the Role
As a Growth Marketing Manager at Fitbod, you will be at the forefront of driving subscriber growth by optimizing the user journey and maximizing the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. You will be a "funnel optimizer" extraordinaire, focusing on converting trial users into loyal subscribers and actively engaging with users at critical points in their lifecycle (e.g., trial abandonment, potential cancellation). You'll leverage our email platform and a variety of other tools to execute targeted campaigns, drive incremental revenue, and enhance user acquisition and retention. This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer with a passion for experimentation, a deep understanding of user behavior, and a knack for crafting compelling messaging.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will play a critical role in scaling our business, with a focus on improving user experience, reducing friction, and delivering growth through data-driven experimentation and agile methodologies.
What You'll Do
Funnel Optimization: Own and optimize the user conversion funnel, identifying key drop-off points and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates from visitor to trial to paid subscriber.
Trial User Engagement: Develop and execute targeted campaigns to engage trial users, address their concerns, and showcase the value of Fitbod to maximize conversion.
Retention & Recovery: Proactively identify users at risk of cancellation and implement strategies to recover them, increase user loyalty, and minimize churn.
Email Marketing Excellence: Utilize our email platform, Iterable, to design, implement, and analyze automated email sequences, promotional campaigns, and personalized messaging that drives user action.
Multi-Channel Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Design, Engineering) to integrate growth initiatives across various channels, including in-app messaging, push notifications, and paid acquisition.
Experimentation & Analysis: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to optimize campaign performance, improve user engagement, and drive incremental revenue.
Data-Driven Decisions: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, trial-to-paid conversion, churn rate, customer lifetime value) to inform growth strategies and adjust plans as needed.
Reporting & Communication: Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on key growth metrics, campaign performance, and insights gained from experiments.
