Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to own customer acquisition for Elastic's self-service business. You will drive high-intent trial starts, optimize activation, and improve efficiency across the funnel in a player-coach role that builds and scales a distributed growth team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in growth marketing at B2B enterprise SaaS with 3+ years leading teams.
• Direct experience with PLG motion alongside an enterprise sales motion.
• Proven track record of hitting acquisition targets and managing paid budgets against CAC and payback.
• Experience building teams and managing external agencies for performance.
• Strong analytical skills; funnel metrics; SQL or product analytics is a plus.
• Strong creative instincts across messaging, landing pages, and campaigns.
• Comfort marketing to developer and technical practitioner audiences.
• Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity—build programs and systems that don't exist yet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, from executive presentations to channel-level detail.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: set growth plans, build and scale distributed teams, coach and raise craft.
• Paid Acquisition: own paid search, social, display; manage spend vs CAC/payback; oversee agencies.
• Lifecycle Marketing: own email, nurture, and in-product messaging to boost activation and trial-to-paid conversion.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with Product, Marketing, Web, and Documentation on strategy and content.
