Cap is seeking a Marketing and Communications Lead to own how the world understands Cap. You will craft messaging, guide campaigns, and manage a PR agency in a hands-on, early-stage environment. You will influence the company direction and participate in upside growth.

You will drive strategy, messaging consistency across site, decks, and social, and tailor campaigns by audience segments. Strong writing and crisis communication skills are essential, with experience turning technical products

Qualifications

• 3+ years in marketing with ownership of brand messaging and positioning.
• Ability to translate complex products into simple, compelling stories for mainstream audiences.
• Experience managing an external PR or communications agency, not just receiving updates.

Responsibilities

• Set marketing strategy and budget priorities.
• Track KPIs and site traffic; evolve strategy based on results.
• Build out the marketing team as Cap grows.
• Own Cap's core messaging across audiences and updates as product evolves.
• Manage external communications with the PR agency and spokespeople.
• Oversee crisis/reactive communications with leadership.
