Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks an experienced Director, Controller (Personal & Home Care) to establish and direct global accounting policies for Growth Ventures. The role leads the transformation of the accounting function, standardizing processes, structures, and controls across a complex global manufacturing environment.

The position requires 10+ years of accounting leadership, U.S. GAAP expertise, and strong experience with M&A, intercompany, and consolidation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including leadership in a global organization.
• Experience leading accounting/finance transformation initiatives and shared-services optimization.
• Global accounting experience including foreign currency, intercompany, consolidation, and statutory reporting.
• Experience implementing or transforming ERP, financial reporting, or other accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global accounting function and ensure alignment with policies for timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Lead transformation of accounting organization with standardized processes, governance, and scalable operations.
• Prepare US GAAP and statutory financial statements and engage with external auditors.
• Provide accounting leadership across international operations and intercompany matters.
• Partner with GBS to standardize outsourced transactional processing and enhance efficiency.
• Lead or support ERP implementations, process automation, and finance-system transformations.
• Collaborate with FP&A for performance insights and forecasting improvements.
