Job summary

Ball Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Director, Controller to lead global accounting for Growth Ventures. You will standardize processes, direct financial reporting, and guide M&A accounting and integration across a complex manufacturing footprint.

You will drive a robust control environment, coordinate with GBS, and partner with FP&A and Corporate Development to support strategic growth and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with strong finance background.
• 10+ years in progressively responsible accounting roles within global orgs.
• Experience leading finance transformations and ERP initiatives.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge and multinational operations exposure.
• ERP/financial systems implementation or upgrade experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting function, ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Drive transformation, standardization, and continuous improvement of processes.
• Oversee US GAAP and statutory reporting, engage with auditors.
• Manage SOX program and internal controls across the division.
• Partner with FP&A to align actuals with plan and drive forecasting.
• Support M&A activities, purchase accounting, and integration.
