Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations. This hands-on leadership role manages a multi-level accounting team and drives accurate, efficient financial processes in a high-growth environment.

You will collaborate with the CFO and senior leaders across divisions to influence processes, improve systems, and support strategic initiatives, with CPA or Masters combination and strong technical accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA is a strong plus; Masters acceptable if manufacturing experience aligns.
• Previous experience as a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Experience with M&A due diligence and integration.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day accounting function: GL, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, close.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual close and ensure timely financials.
• Prepare and review financial statements, forecasts, and analyses.
• Maintain accounting policies, controls, and internal procedures.
• Lead with CFO and senior leaders to ensure accurate reporting.
