Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive media leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing/Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Proven record of growing local news audience and multi‑platform revenue.
• Strong communicator across all formats: written, verbal, and presentation.
• Strategic/analytical thinker; excellent negotiator; calm, decisive operator.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams, develop high performers, and lead diverse personalities.
• Deep understanding of the broadcast/digital industry and its future.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-platform revenue growth across broadcast, digital, and sponsored content.
• Develop and execute strategic and operating plans for audience and revenue growth.
• Oversee pricing, inventory, and yield with Sales leadership; drive digital agency growth.
• Lead content strategy with News leadership: trusted local journalism and live events.
• Drive streaming and social video growth using data and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with Gray Media policies and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture and develop leadership.
• Build strong relationships with advertisers and community partners.

Education
