Job summary

Citizens is seeking a dynamic leader for the role of Director of Digital Deposits Growth & Sales. This executive will own the digital acquisition and sales engine across the prospect and customer journey—from traffic and engagement to application, account opening, and early relationship development.

The role requires balancing customer experience with risk and financial outcomes while driving deposit household growth via digital channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital growth, digital sales, consumer banking, deposits or related fields.
• End-to-end ownership of a digital acquisition or sales funnel with measurable outcomes.
• Strong experience with experimentation, optimization, analytics and channel economics.
• Ability to translate strategy into priorities, roadmaps and execution.
• Proven success influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent written, verbal and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the digital deposits acquisition and sales strategy across the consumer portfolio.
• Set a vision and roadmap for digital growth balancing sales, experience, risk and financials.
• Identify opportunities to increase qualified traffic, conversions, and funding.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Technology, Data, Operations and Risk to align investments.
• Own digital sales performance across the full customer journey and define funnel metrics.
• Lead cross-functional plans to address friction and barriers in the journey.
• Establish a disciplined experimentation agenda and test-and-learn rhythm.
• Partner with Retail Distribution to ensure seamless self-serve and assisted journeys.
• Define performance narratives and assess channel economics with Finance and Analytics.
• Lead talent development and foster a data-driven, customer-centric culture.
