Job summary

Calico, a product creation engine, seeks a supply-side leader to own apparel suppliers end-to-end. You will build the supplier network, close deals, and shape data and product requirements to fuel the marketplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketplace supply growth, business development, sourcing or apparel production.
• Genuine closing ability with relationships built from scratch.
• Comfort operating without a playbook and ability to create one.

Responsibilities

• Build the apparel supplier landscape map by category, country and capability.
• Lead end-to-end outbound to source, pitch, negotiate and close factories and mills.
• Travel to factories to build relationships and perform capability audits.
• Define supplier profile data: MOQs, lead times, machinery, certifications, pricing.
• Design onboarding processes and collaborate with product/engineering to automate data capture.
• Maintain a verification loop to keep listings fresh and accurate.
• Interview suppliers to shape supply-side product-market fit and roadmaps.
• Translate supplier needs into product requirements and roadmap insights.
