Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations for Water Heater Warehouse.
• Recruit, interview and hire employees; onboard new staff.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation; ensure compliance.
• Address employee relations and workplace concerns; coach managers.
• Manage performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Administer attendance, timekeeping, and Cal/OSHA compliance.
• Ensure wage-and-hour compliance and leave of absence administration.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and workplace injury documentation.
• Update employee handbook and company policies; train managers.
• Track certifications, licenses and required documentation; support payroll.
• Collaborate with payroll, brokers and HR/legal resources as needed.
• Assist with compensation structures and job descriptions.
• Support safety programs and California employment law compliance.
