Job summary

Pebl in Palo Alto is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact Growth team. You will drive user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives, building scalable systems with React, TypeScript, and AWS while standardizing Claude Code usage to boost velocity and quality.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical roadmaps, and champion an AI-first approach to product delivery in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading a team.
• Proven full-stack expertise with React, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Experience integrating AI tools like Claude Code to boost velocity and code quality.
• Track record of delivering customer-facing SaaS products with metrics-driven growth.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Team Leadership: lead technical strategy and contribute code, review, and architecture with the team.
• AI-Native Execution: champion an AI-first culture, integrating Claude Code and LLM harnesses to accelerate experimentation and velocity.
• Growth Engineering Strategy: define technical roadmap for acquisition and retention using modern, scalable architecture.
• Team Growth & Mentorship: recruit, mentor, and grow engineers with a balance of human-led and AI-assisted development.
• Operational Excellence: ensure observability, stability, and quality while accelerating delivery with AI tools.
• On-Site Collaboration: foster in-person collaboration in Palo Alto office (Mon-Wed) for faster problem solving.
