Job summary

Pebl is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Growth Engineering team in Palo Alto. You will design, build, and scale innovative solutions that enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver impactful features and drive Pebl’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, specializing in backend and serverless architectures with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3).
• Experience with design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Lean mindset focused on delivering customer value and iterating efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Experience with growth-focused projects or optimizing user journeys is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Architect, develop, and maintain applications and services using TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment.
• Optimize systems to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Lead by example with clean, maintainable code and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous learning.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; stay current with new technologies.
