Job summary

Pebl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact Growth engineering team. You will actively code and architect while guiding the technical roadmap and AI-native practices using Claude Code to accelerate delivery.

Based in Palo Alto, this role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, observability, and mentorship, balancing human leadership with AI-augmented workflows to drive user growth and product velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of formal engineering management experience.
• Proven full-stack expertise with React, TypeScript and AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS).
• Experience leveraging Claude Code or similar LLM tools in SDLC.
• Track record delivering customer-facing SaaS products with growth metrics.
• Strong ability to communicate complex tech decisions to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical leadership and coding participation within the Growth team.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for acquisition and retention goals.
• Embed AI-native practices and integrate Claude Code into daily workflows.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow engineers; balance human and AI-augmented development.
• Maintain high observability, reliability, and delivery speed for features.
