Job summary

ErectaStep is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive sales growth through distributors across a defined territory in the Northeast U.S. You will develop plans, identify distributors, and enable them to increase sales of ErectaStep products.

This role requires 5+ years in industrial sales to distributors, strong relationship-building, and travel of 50% or more. You will train distributor sales teams, analyze market opportunities, and report on customer needs to the National Sales Manager.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in industrial sales to distributors.
Proven ability to hit sales targets.
Excellent people skills and relationship-building.
Ability to travel 50%+ as required by role.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.

Responsibilities

Develop regional business plans and sales strategy for the region that lead to achieving or exceeding company sales goals.
Build business with distributors within the assigned territory using a variety of sales techniques.
Targets potential new distributors and assesses their strategic fit.
Arranges meetings with potential distributors and sells product offerings.
Analyses competitor activities in the territory and assesses opportunities for business development.
