Job summary

The Steven Hall Agency is seeking a Personal Lines Producer to maintain profitable client relationships and grow the book of business through new client sales. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, quoting, binding coverage, and educating clients on coverages and rates.

Qualifications

• Hold the insurance license required by your state.
• Minimum two years of personal and commercial lines account management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures.
• Proven B2B sales success with negotiation and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate quotations, and general account support.
• Actively prospect round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage as well as network for new clients.
• Obtain best coverage and rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; present policies to insured.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with customers and prospects through regular follow-up, timely quotations, and general account support.
• Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in meetings.
• Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information and technology.
