Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a floating Teller/Personal Banker to support multiple banking centers across the Southeast and nationwide through digital offerings. You will conduct customer financial profiles, identify needs, and cross-sell products while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires strong communication, basic PC skills, and a flexible schedule including Saturdays and travel between branches as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial growth of the banking center through establishing, expanding, and retaining high-value client relationships.
• Act as Teller and Personal Banker, floating between centers to support customer and team needs.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts; achieve defined sales and service goals.
• Cross-sell and upsell banking products; educate clients on promotions and services.
• Provide backup support to other branches and mentor colleagues as needed.
• Handle complex transactions, research discrepancies, and ensure accurate daily balancing.
