Job summary

Ameris Bank is a purpose-driven financial partner serving customers across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and nationwide. We are looking for a Teller and Personal Banker to support customers and team while driving growth through high-value relationships and cross-selling of banking products.

You will handle daily teller duties, open new accounts, and assist clients with financial profiles, promotions, and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as teller and Personal Banker to support customers and team.
• Grow banking center through establishing and expanding high-value relationships.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Identify and act on cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate transactions and cash handling procedures.
