Job summary

ALCO-Chem, Inc., an Ohio-based manufacturer and distributor of cleaning chemicals, janitorial supplies, equipment, and food service solutions, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative.

You will develop and grow your own territory by building relationships, presenting solutions, and supporting customers to improve efficiency and sanitation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales experience (preferably outside sales).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales goals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Relationship-building skills.
• Reliable vehicle, insurance and clean driving record; ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to meet or exceed sales objectives.
• Prospect and secure new business.
• Conduct customer site visits and identify opportunities for product/service improvements.
• Present solutions through product demonstrations and staff training.
• Generate quotes, enter orders, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and usage trends within customer accounts.
• Expand sales through cross-selling and new products/services.
• Maintain knowledge of ALCO products, services, and industry trends.
