Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, is seeking licensed mental health therapists to empower clients and grow within a supportive clinical team. You will provide outpatient therapy and participate in care planning across disciplines, while pursuing licensure and ongoing professional development.

The role emphasizes collaborative care, ethical practice, and a resilient, client-centered approach to behavioral health in our community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFC, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and high-quality care.
• Ongoing professional development including supervision and CE.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building.
• Strong time management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
• Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs, dietitians, admin staff, and therapists.
