Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I at the Whitehall Cement Plant in PA. You will support plant operations, implement CBM initiatives, and participate in Amrize’s Build4Growth program for new graduates.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or 0–3 years of equivalent experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and 5% travel. The program blends online learning with on-site assignments and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Travelable to site: 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Work with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure operation.
• Monitor reliability-based systems including PMs and condition monitoring.
• Develop PMRs and BOMs for new equipment.
• Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce failures.
• Support continuous improvement for MTBF of major equipment.
• Coordinate SAP PMR activities with maintenance planners.
• Provide training on reliability concepts to maintenance teams.
