Job summary

All Current Electrical is looking for a motivated, entry-level Business Development Representative who's eager to learn, grind, and grow into a full sales career. This is a launchpad role — you'll start by generating leads, opening doors through outbound prospecting, and supporting our sales team with quote follow-up and opportunity management.

You won't be the one taking or closing deals early on, but you'll be an active, essential part of every deal that moves through our pipeline.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills — comfortable and confident on the phone and over email.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
• Persistence and resilience — comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when tracking leads and following up on quotes
• Basic computer proficiency (email, CRM systems, spreadsheets)
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge in the electrical industry
• Coachability — open to feedback and eager to develop new skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other channels to generate new leads
• Open doors with new prospects and introduce them to All Current Electrical's products and services
• Manage and respond to incoming requests from the team inbox
• Support the sales team with quote follow-up and moving opportunities toward close
• Research prospects and accounts to prioritize outreach and personalize messaging
• Use AI tools to work smarter — researching accounts, drafting outreach, and learning product details faster
• Track activity and pipeline progress in the CRM
• Build product knowledge over time to prepare for a transition into a closing sales role
