Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations, drive member satisfaction, and contribute to the club's financial success in the United States.

You will recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members, and ensure a high level of customer service across all interactions at the front desk and beyond. Lead the team to meet standards and maintain a welcoming, upbeat environment.

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight ensuring great customer service.
• Front desk tasks: greeting members, tours, service issues.
• Support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coach and counsel performance to meet standards.
• Open/close gym promptly.
• Train staff on current promotions.
• Finish onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
• Ensure club is open and staffed during hours.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Order supplies and track inventory.
