Job summary

InCharge Energy is seeking a Service Manager to lead the day-to-day sales and revenue generation of our Sales & Service office. This strategic leadership role, reporting to the Branch General Manager, focuses on growing service and construction revenue, maintaining backlog, and achieving gross margin goals.

You will supervise service technicians, coordinate field workflows, and drive productivity while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, operations management, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in electrical service, maintenance, construction, or related field operations
• Demonstrated experience leading field-based electrical technicians, electricians, or service crews
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting methodologies, electrical safety standards, and industry best practices
• Ability to provide technical guidance and serve as escalation point for complex electrical service issues
• Experience coordinating field service activities, scheduling personnel, and optimizing technician productivity across multiple sites
• Proven ability to review, approve, and verify work orders, service reports, labor hours, material usage, and job completion documentation
• Experience ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and safety policies
• Proficiency with work order management systems, field service software, and maintenance platforms (CMMS)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise all service technicians, providing daily direction and coaching
• Oversee technician and electrician workflows for safe, efficient job execution
• Drive technician productivity through accurate time charging and utilization monitoring
• Serve as first line of technical escalation to reduce downtime
• Coordinate dispatch to maximise field coverage and timely response
• Schedule and track technician training and safety certifications
• Provide on-site supervision and hands-on field support
• Manage the service-truck fleet and 100% DOT compliance
• Enter and validate ADP time entries and payroll documentation
• Review and approve work orders and job-cost documentation
• Approve RAMP card transactions per purchasing guidelines
