Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join our team in California. You will service walk-in customers, process sales transactions, and handle material receiving and order fulfillment using forklift equipment where required.

This role combines customer service with warehouse responsibilities, including order entry, inventory checks, and daily reporting. The position supports a busy Sales Service Center with a focus on safety and accuracy, offering opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs various customer service duties such as waiting on customers, assisting with order requirements, answering inquiries, processing payments and providing samples.
• Addresses and resolves customer complaints (returns and order errors).
• Processes payments/receipts, reconciliations, bank deposits, and prepares performance reports.
• Enters customer orders, creates plant/RDC orders, and completes stock replenishment orders.
• Waits on customers and prepares sales slips; produces daily sales reports.
• Performs warehouse duties including picking/assembling orders, inventory checks, and cycle counts.
• Operates crane forklift equipment and maintains a safe, clean facility.
• Follows Safety Program and reports incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Performs other related duties as required.
