Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs and deliver treatments in an in-facility setting. You will follow developed recovery plans and work to restore patients’ independence, addressing each patient as a unique individual.

Reporting to the Director of Rehab, you’ll be part of a caring team focused on patient-centered outcomes and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well and restore independence.
• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Education
