Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Content Strategist to lead the PCG Creative Services team and shape content programs across marketing channels. You will connect customer insights, business priorities and journeys to drive growth while collaborating with copywriters, designers and marketers.

You will write, edit and align content to AP style, develop messaging frameworks, and mentor a small team.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of strategic content planning, content management and writing experience
• Experience providing strategic content and messaging guidance to senior stakeholders across marketing, sales and executive leaders
• Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Experience with web content, keyword placement, and SEO/GEO/AEO concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead content planning and development across multiple channels to align with customer journeys and business priorities
• Develop modular content strategies and messaging frameworks for scalable experiences
• Write, edit and ensure brand and AP style compliance for diverse audiences across PCG divisions
• Partner with marketing, sales and product leaders to define messaging architectures and content assets
• Mentor and develop copywriting teammates and collaborate with Creative Services on campaigns
• Lead or co-lead ideation, creative brainstorming and performance measurement meetings
• Maintain and update the PCG Copy Style Guide and lexicon annually
• Present content opportunities and performance insights to stakeholders and leadership
