Gilbane is seeking an entry-level Construction Project Accountant to support the accounting staff in compliance and production work. The role sits primarily in the office with travel to project sites and subcontractors.

The Accountant I is an entry-level position with opportunities to grow in title, compensation and responsibility. You will work with seasoned professionals, receive mentorship, and have access to Gilbane University trainings to build leadership and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pay applications.
• Track and review receivables.
• Review and process accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide accounting support for on-site project management teams.
• Assist with payroll functions, including adjustments and closings.
