Job summary

Firstrust Bank is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lender to develop and grow loan portfolios, focusing on small business and light real estate lending, in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with the Branch Manager, Credit Risk, Portfolio Manager and Loan Processor to close deals, assess financial information, negotiate terms and provide tailored financial solutions that maximize retention and profitability.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of external commercial lending business development.
• BS in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant sales experience / banking experience of five to seven years
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Onboard, manage and grow loan portfolio within small business and real estate lending.
• Work with Portfolio Manager to manage the portfolio, including line of credit renewals and past due payments.
• Assess financial information to determine lending needs.
• Develop customer referral strategies to increase portfolio growth.
• Negotiate credit terms and ensure proper loan documentation.
• Represent the bank in civic and community functions to develop business.
