Job summary

First Community Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking professional to manage and grow small business and commercial loan relationships. You will drive loan origination, underwriting, and cross-sell strategies while maintaining a robust pipeline of clients and prospects.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, coordinate with credit staff on pricing and structuring, and travel as needed to meet client needs. The role emphasizes community involvement and adherence to bank policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum three years in small business and commercial banking.
• Strong understanding of loan origination, underwriting, and Treasury Services.
• Ability to travel as needed, including overnight.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production goals for commercial loans.
• Provide referrals to Mortgage, Wealth, Treasury Services, and Merchant Services.
• Maintain pipeline of existing relationships and new prospects.
• Structure loan requests per credit policy to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with credit staff on pricing and origination.
• Act as trusted advisor and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities.
• Represent the Company in the community and participate in referral networks.
• Complete training within expected timeframes.
• Support the Company Standards of Conduct and its mission, vision, and values.
