Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee an assigned portfolio of commercial loans and support the NST Portfolio Management Team with underwriting, monitoring, and relationship management activities.

You will assist with portfolio reporting, risk reviews, and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• 1+ years of commercial/middle market credit analysis or underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, trend analysis, and management information reporting.
• Support reviews of settlement activity, account performance, concentration risk, and portfolio quality metrics.
• Participate in portfolio reviews and special credit projects to enhance risk identification and monitoring capabilities.
• Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of financial information to support portfolio decisions.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and customers in partnership with RM and Regional Credit Officer.
• Service and retain assigned customer relationships by evaluating and mitigating risks and opportunities.
• Grow fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue with Relationship Managers.
• Own credit quality and monitoring of portfolio risks.
• Underwrite quality and ongoing credit administration for the portfolio.
• Present proposed credit actions in writings and verbally as needed.
• Conduct portfolio reviews to identify trends and opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
