Job summary

WuXi AppTec, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager (or Associate, depending on experience) to grow WuXi Biology by identifying new client opportunities, managing data pipelines, and providing organized insights to the sales team.

You will conduct outreach, analyze markets, support RFIs/RFQs, and collaborate across functions to expand revenue while maintaining CRM data accuracy and timely communications across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry and market data analysis.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, especially Salesforce.
• Strong data interpretation and reporting capabilities.
• Proven project management and client services aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify new client opportunities and support sales growth initiatives.
• Manage data pipelines and ensure CRM accuracy for sales/ops visibility.
• Analyze geographic/demographic data to drive market penetration.
• Provide summarized reports for the BD team using marketing intelligence.
• Assist in RFIs, RFQs, contracts, POs and invoice processes as needed.
• Represent WuXi AppTec at conferences and client meetings to generate leads.
• Collaborate across functions to align service offerings with client needs.
• Maintain knowledge of WuXi Biology’s services and differentiators.
