Axios is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our advertising sales team in Washington, DC. You will identify and develop new revenue opportunities while maintaining relationships with potential clients and delivering excellent service.

You’ll work with a growing team to shape new revenue opportunities and support sales growth. Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, strong communication, and CRM proficiency, with organized, proactive energy and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer or client service (1 year preferred).
• Experience managing top-of-funnel sales pipelines and outbound outreach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new revenue opportunities for Axios’ core media team.
• Manage and grow relationships with potential clients through outbound and inbound activity.
