Axios is hiring a Director of Client Partnerships to lead revenue growth with advocacy groups, non-profits, and policy-driven entities in a remote-optional US-based role centered in Washington, DC. You will build relationships, represent Axios at events, and collaborate with internal teams to execute partnership programs.

The role requires a hunter mentality, top-tier communication, and a track record of hitting targets across the digital media landscape.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sales in digital media/news
• Established relationships with advocacy groups/organizations
• Understanding of DC advocacy landscape and stakeholders
• Experience in outbound sales environments
• Familiarity with digital media and marketing tech
• Collaborative across teams
• Willingness to travel and attend events

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with advocacy groups and policy organizations
• Act as Axios brand ambassador at events and in the advocacy community
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to drive revenue
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute partnership initiatives
