Candescent is seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Growth Marketing team. You will generate qualified expansion and new logo pipeline through multi‑channel outreach across the U.S., focusing on banks and credit unions, and partnering with Sales to convert opportunities.

Ideal candidates are curious, coachable, and motivated by impact, with a background in B2B technology, fintech, SaaS, or financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in sales, business development, or related customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in B2B technology, fintech, SaaS, or financial services.
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding activity, meeting, or pipeline targets.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Comfortable engaging buyers across phone, email, LinkedIn, and digital channels.
• Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage priorities in a structured GTM environment.
• Collaborative, coachable, and motivated to grow within a sales or growth marketing career path.

Responsibilities

• Execute expansion‑focused outreach programs aligned to Growth Marketing priorities and territory plans.
• Respond & qualify website inquiries for new logo interest.
• Generate and qualify opportunities through proactive, multi‑channel engagement across assigned accounts.
• Research and prioritize accounts to identify whitespace, cross‑sell, and upsell opportunities.
• Educate customers on Candescent’s partnerships, integrations, and platform enhancements.
• Book qualified meetings and deliver clear, high‑quality handoffs to the appropriate sales partners.
• Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and performance tracking in Salesforce.
• Participate in ongoing enablement, messaging refinement, and playbook development.
• Contribute to a high‑performance BDR team culture built on accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
