Job summary

Kay Jewelers seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets, maintain high customer satisfaction, and develop team skills through training and evaluation.

The role includes following company policies, recruiting, and promotion-from-within, with ongoing training in sales techniques and product knowledge to advance careers in a dynamic jewelry environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures and perform other operational and strategic duties.
