Job summary

Community Choice Financial is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Brookhaven, MS. You will support customers, drive account management, and lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position offers on-site work, a starting hourly wage of $16.00, and opportunities for growth across the brand family through training, leadership development, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate, and accurately process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions and ancillary products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining customer service to prevent loss.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy and integrity.
• Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives.
• Perform duties outside of the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
• Meet company performance standards via partnerships, referrals, and in-store/community events.
• Maintain security protocols and conduct opening/closing procedures, including vault/cash drawer.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local/state/federal laws.
• Conduct store audits, create reports, and compile financial data.
• Monitor store appearance and scheduling maintenance.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Perform additional tasks as directed; maintain a full-time in-person attendance, including weekends.
