Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ohio to help run a clean, customer-first store under the Store Manager's direction.

You will supervise employees, assist with merchandising, deposits, and paperwork, and perform stocking and cashiering tasks to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

Key responsibilities include ensuring cash handling accuracy, opening/closing, scheduling, training, and enforcing company policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service leadership experience in retail environments.
• Supervisory experience or management exposure.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems.
• Merchandise presentation and planogram adherence.
• Basic math for transactions and inventory calculations.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings.
• Assist with stocking, receiving, and merchandising.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and deter losses.
• Support planogram implementation and displays.
• Maintain financial integrity and cashier accountability; assist in deposits.
• Assist in store leadership in the Store Manager's absence.
