Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders and team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Team Leader in day-to-day store leadership and operation.
• Provide leadership and direction to Department Managers, Shift Supervisors, and team members.
• Coach and develop store leaders and team members; reinforce accountability and performance.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and staffing.
• Support local marketing, community involvement, and store events.
• Ensure merchandising, inventory, animal care, cleanliness, safety, and store conditions.
• Oversee daily stocking, promotions, truck processing, price changes, and inventory management.
• Resolve escalated neighbor, team member, and operational concerns.
• Hold responsibilities in the Store Team Leader's absence.
