Job summary

Avenue5 Residential seeks an assistant property manager to support the property manager in daily operations, oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to ensure a smooth, welcoming community for residents, associates and property owners.

You will manage rent collection, financial and leasing reporting, move-ins/outs and renewals, audit records, and assist with staff training and correspondence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelors preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations.
• Oversee supplier contracts and maintenance activities.
• Manage accounts receivable, rent postings, and rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records and resident files for accuracy.
• Process evictions and handle move-ins/outs and renewals.
• Lease apartments as needed and assist with staff training.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; resolve resident relations issues.
