Job summary

Westfield Bank seeks an Assistant Branch Manager II to support the branch manager, oversee the teller line, and ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction. You will help lead a large-size branch and drive branch performance against deposits, staff, and sales targets.

Responsibilities include applying service standards, handling consumer loans, opening new accounts, and coordinating with Loan Operations until loan closings. A path to notary and other certifications is available as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Previous sales, customer service and supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Apply Westfield Bank Service and Sales Process during customer interaction.
• Adhere to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Assist the Management Team in various administrative and supervisory duties.
• Answer credit inquiries, accept applications and close consumer loans.
• Provide support and input for internal incentive programs created for the branch.
• Open new accounts and perform account maintenance as needed.
• Obtain NMLS to take home equity loans or line applications and liaise with Loan Operations until loan closes.
• Resolve customer problems as they arise.
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit.
• Achieve specialty program goals as assigned.
• Must obtain official designations/certifications as required (e.g. notary, medallion).
• Performs higher level specialty function as designated.
• Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
