TEKsystems in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an energetic Assistant Branch Manager to lead a high-visibility retail banking branch and drive growth through team development and community outreach.

You will coach staff, focus on lending, deposits, and membership expansion, and ensure exceptional member service in a flagship location. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, within an onsite team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership, branch management, banking, credit union, or related financial services experience.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
• Strong sales and relationship-building mindset with a track record of achieving goals.
• Experience reviewing and processing lending opportunities.
• Knowledge of consumer banking, lending, financial products, and member services.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
• Drive branch performance through lending growth, deposit growth, and membership acquisition initiatives.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, observations, and performance reviews.
• Manage branch operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure a seamless member experience.
• Build strong relationships with current members through proactive outreach and follow-up activities.
• Handle escalated member concerns and guide staff through complex member interactions.
• Partner with internal departments to improve service delivery and achieve organizational objectives.
• Represent the branch within the community through networking events, business development activities, and community outreach efforts.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve established goals.
