Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Application Support Engineer II to provide advanced support and engineering-level troubleshooting across enterprise platforms. The role leads on complex issues, identifies root causes, and implements fixes to improve system stability.

It is part of Ryder’s Technology Talent Incubator Program. Candidates must have hands-on development experience with C#, .NET or Salesforce and 2–4 years in application support or development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in CS, MIS, or related field.
• 2+ to 4+ years in application support or development required.
• Hands-on development experience required (C#, .NET and/or Salesforce).
• Proficiency in SQL/data querying expected.
• Experience with APIs and integrations preferred.
• Experience with RCA/problem management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex incidents across apps and integrations.
• Perform advanced data analysis and debugging to identify root causes.
• Implement configuration changes and light development fixes to improve performance.
• Own issues end-to-end including diagnosis, resolution, validation, and documentation.
• Identify systemic issues and contribute to long-term solutions and process improvements.
• Partner with development teams to refine escalations and reduce repeat issues.
• Contribute to knowledge base improvements and automation opportunities.
