Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior experience managing and developing accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Demonstrated success improving processes, controls, and reporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor members of the accounting team while helping build and scale the department to support continued organizational growth.
• Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a rapidly scaling organization.
• Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger activity.
• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
